Meet Our Board of Directors

Marsha A. Cannon
Secretary/Clerk
Marsha began a second career in November 2007 as District Team Leader for Doncaster, a private, family-owned business providing direct sales of distinctive and contemporary clothing to women by private appointment. Marsha retired from the U. S. Postal Service in November 2007, after a 38-year career, in which she served as Postmaster of Boston for the last 5 years. For the 5 years prior to that, she was Postmaster of Cambridge, and was an active member of the WIBC. She served as the Co-Chair of the Greater Boston Postal Customer Council, along with a co-chair representing the 10,000 strong mailing industry, from 2003 to 2007. A lifelong resident of the Boston area, Marsha lives in the Squantum section of Quincy, Massachusetts with her husband Bob, USPS Public Affairs and Communications Representative.

Rachel Hillman
Rachel is a Real Estate Broker focusing on residential property in the Greater Boston area. Her prior jobs in management (i.e. Fidelity Investments) and obtaining her MBA from Babson College has been instrumental for developing strong business skills. She appreciates working with all buyers and sellers, but specializes in first-time homebuyers, relocation, new construction & investors/developers.  Rachel is an ambassador for the Newton/Needham Chamber of Commerce and serves on the board of Soroptimist, a volunteer group helping women improve their lives.  In her spare time, Rachel loves traveling to new places, books, movies and live music.

President
Shelly Berman-Rubera is the President of SBR-Small Business Results, based in Newton, MA. She is an energetic entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience having started four businesses. Her expertise lies in the ability to recognize where issues and problems arise for small business owners on a daily basis. Shelly's excellent speaking abilities, her credibility and her techniques have instilled great learning and change to businesses and individuals. Shelly is a member of the Newton-Needham Chamber, Chair for the Newton-Needham Chamber Women in Networking Committee, Past Co-Chair for Strictly Networking, member of Athletes and Executives and The American Society for Training and Development. She has also won trophies as a competitive athlete, while being married and raising two children.

Wyn Snow
Wyn Snow is a “Website Cardiologist” and President of Websites 4 Small Business. She works with small business owners who want a website that helps their business grow. Her diagnostic evaluation service compares a website to best practices in the industry and provides recommendations for making sure one's website is a strong partner in one's business growth. Wyn has been building websites since 1996. She grew up on Greenwich Village, studied ballet as a child, and loves sci-fi/fantasy novels. Wyn joined WIBC in 2004, the Board in 2007, and served as WIBC President during 2008.

Rosemary White
Treasurer
Rosemary White is the owner at Strong Financial Group, a fee-based financial planning firm in Cambridge that specializes in retirement, business and estate planning. She is a founding member of the WIBC and served as president in 2007. A current member of the Greater Boston Business Council, Rosy is also a former Board member of GBBC. Originally from the "Show Me state" (Missouri), she enjoys music, movies, politics and football (not necessarily in that order). Her tasks on the WIBC board include attracting additional sponsors for the organization and expansion of the Member Discount program. Rosy is currently serving as WIBC Treasurer.
